HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

HP is an outright ripe off 100% dishonest company about its program to furnish (or have you purchase from a third party) a printer on their so-called all in one program, where you obtain a printer and agree to have HP furnish all of your ink and as an additional gimmick agree to obtain printing paper from HP.  They claim you are getting a "great deal", in fact you are getting cheated from the start.  You have to chose a page limit per month and if you go over that limit you get charged as much as $1.00 per page which can add up outrageously fast; the ink you receive has a built in code that allows HP to completely shout your printer down, even when you have purchased the printer.  They claim easy service in hooking up the printer to your computer, but if their "program" does not work properly, too bad.  I made the mistake of signing on to the program at a charge of just under $15.00 per month THE PRINTER HAS NEVER WORKED, HP HAS NEVER RESPONDED TO ATTEMPTS TO HAVE THE ASSIST - AS PROMISED- TO HOOK UP THE PRINTER AND IT HAS NEVER PRINTED SO MUCH AS A SINGLE PAGE.  I HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT THEM TO GET THIS RESOLVED AND NEVER GET A CALL BACK; I HAVE TRIED TO REACH A LIVE PERSON TO TALK TO, THERE IS NOT ANYWAY TO REACH ANYONE  AFTER 3 MONTHS OF TRYING TO REACH THEM ALL I GET ARE EMAILS  TELLING ME HOW MUCH I "OWE" THEM FOR A NON WORKING PRINTER, NO INK, NO PAPER, BUT A BILL FOR $370.00 and a demand to return the printer so I am supposed to pay almost $400.00 for absolutely nothing.

This is simply outright thief by a company that knows the customer cannot afford to fight them in court.  Try to reach their home offices - you simply cannot.   I am an older person and well remember when HP years ago got caught in selling printers that automatically stopped printing, and could not be "repaired" after 25000 copies.  This was not caused by wear and tear on the printers, but by it being programmed to stop, causing the need to buy a new printer.  The federal government caught them and fined them heavily and prohibited them from repeating the scam.  Now HP has come up with the same type of scam.  Do not fall for this dishonesty, buy any printer except an HP.  There as a long time period when HP was the only brand of computers and printers I would purchase.  NEVER AGAIN.
