I didn't get a mouse with my new hp computer.  Is this the norm now?

Without knowing the exact model number of your device, an answer is difficult to provide!

 

Please post back with the information.  Also, if you are asking about a desktop, be sure to check all the nooks and crannies of the packaging material.  Laptops are normally shipped without a mouse.

I didn't get a mouse with my new hp computer.  Is this the norm now?   It is a HP Pavilion Notebook 15-aw050ca.   

At first I was disappointed it wasn't a touch screen. the aw020 and 030 are touchscreen but this itsn't, then there was no mouse and my old mouse won't work with it without a dongle. I was hoping I would no longer need a usb dongle. 

Despite the disappointments I was liking it but now the wifi keeps cutting out. Very frustrated.  Not having fun at all.

HP does not ship a separate mouse with this notebook PC.

 

The touchpad is the "mouse".
