Ordered a printer while it was in stock, "Delivery within 48hrs" and now "WAITING FOR STOCK".

HP Recommended

Horrible ordering experience. I ordered on the 29th while it was in stock and advertised "Delivery within 48hrs". It is now 6 days later and "WAITING FOR STOCK". HP took my money fast enough, but forgot to do everything else in a purchase transaction.

I don't understand how this even happens with a tech company like HP.

 

I needed the printer urgently, due to UK COVID lockdown, shutting down most printing services.

 

I am distraught at the poor handling of the situation with no transparency. If something happened with stock, at least notify the user so there is some peace of mind.
