Pavilion dv2533TX Notebook

HP Recommended

Couldn't afford an apple, ended up with a lemon!

Paid AUS$1368 for this machine

Used it about 50 times and it never left the house

just out of warranty it drops its guts

paid AUS$95 to learn that it needs a new mainboard

cost of new mainboard AUS$1495 plus labour to fit AUS$190-total cost of repair AUS$1685

Off to landfill we go - I dont feel guilty about throwing away a plastic shopping bag now

Thinking of hiring a laptop - must be cheaper than $27 EVERY SINGLE TIME

HP I LOVE YOU! I want to fill my home with your appliances  NOT!
