  1. 01.09.2018 - Date of Purchase
  2. 19.09.2018 - Mouse pad stopped working. Wanted to replace the laptop as 1st repair has happened within 30 days of purchase. DOA report issued by Redington. Approached EMAX Azaiba. However, they did not have another HP brand laptop of the same configuration. 
  3. 04.10.2018 - Touchpad stopped working -  Touchpad replaced and windows re-installed.
  4. 03.03.2019 - Battery draining very fast - Battery replaced.
  5. 03.11.2019 - Some of the Keys in keyboard stopped working - Keyboard replaced
  6. 27.01.2020 - No display - Motherboard replaced

Out of 1 year Product warranty, repaired 3 times and out of 1 year Extended warranty till date repaired 2 times. The extended warranty is till 31.08.2020. I don't know whether there are any other parts in this laptop to be replaced except for the outer cover.  If HP genuinely feel that there is some manufacturing defect in the product, pls have the courtesy to replace or give an extended warranty period of 3 years. All repair work is done at Redington, Oman an authorised service centre of HP. U may call for all documents from the service centre for verification to get satisfied.  This has been purchased for my daughter for scoring high marks in Grade 12th. She is terribly upset by having this HP Laptop.  My email address is[edit]Hope I will get a reply.  Regards Biju
