Possible Email Scam?

HP Recommended

I received this email a few days ago and have some suspicion about it's legitimacy just based on the bad grammar and syntax. I can't seem to get hold of a human being on HP's support line or fraud line, so I'm looking here for some help. Below are screen shots of the email. There is a greeting that I didn't capture. Thanks for any help you can lend. Capture.JPGCapture2.JPG

@barricade

I agree the email appears suspicious due in part to the somewhat poorly constructed English used in the content.  Mis-spellings / poor construction are hallmarks of a scam.

Checking the number at the bottom of your second image does show the number listed in what appears to be an HP document:

Texas Call Center

I will pass along a request to HP for verification -- should there be a response, we will hear back on this thread.
