Can you please advise HP's preferred method of posting images/pictorial essay of steps tried for solution in query made by posting members!

Click the "Insert Image" icon up in the tool bar when you compose a reply. It's immediately to the right of the "Insert Link" icon that looks like a chain link.
Some images have to wait for Moderators to clear them. This is to prevent users from posting obscene photos, etc.
