After much troubleshooting, I have come to realize that there is no fix to this problem and the only solution offered by HP is to purchase a new printer. What I don't understand is: Why, if employees are claiming this is a hardware issue and a seemingly frequent one, has HP not offered a part replacement if out of warranty??? Instead, they direct us to purchase a new printer and offer a printer recycle program??? Does this mean they take OUR money and then repair OUR printer with a minor fix, only to send it as a replacement printer for warranty replacements??? This is absurd!!!

HP does not stand by their product. They offer a bunch of gimmicky support services to lure us in. I cannot believe that I have fallen prey to this terrible service. I cannot believe that I have been paying for HP Insta-Ink all this time because I didn't get around to contacting support. I wanted to avoid the "hassle" of canceling and then reinstating after I found time to troubleshoot my printer . This is not HP's fault. This is my own consumer stupidity!!! Please do not fall for this trap!!!
