I have something that I want to post into one of the forums.  The body of the message is 1079 characters.  However, after I press the submit button I get the message that the post has to be less than 20,000 characters.

 

I tried again and laboriously retyped the whole message and still got the same reply.

 

I wonder if I am missing something here?

 

Any help will be appreciated because I do have a problem with my w2408h monitor.

Hi GeoffA,

 

Are you pasting text from Word or another program? Sometimes when you do that extra formatting will be entered that inflates your character count. Click the "Edit as HTML" button (above the text box) when you are entering you post and check to see if there are a ton of extra formatting characters.
