Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just last week I had HP Smart Friend Services fix an issue on my HP laptop. I signed up for the monthly contract at $15 per month. I was given a 24/7 support phone number to call if I needed to use the service. Today I have an issue I want support for. After I signed up on the monthly service contract I was given 866-211-5207 as the number to call for round the clock support. I called that number and once dialed there is dead silence on the line. Additionally, 844-814-1800 is listed on the HP Smart Friend website as the number to call for more information on HP SmartFriend. If that number is called, the call connnects but then it is silence on the line until it auto-disconnects. However, in the Terms and Conditions for my SmartFriend contract is has a contact number of 800-474-6836. I have tried that number 5 or 6 times this morning and as soon as you call the number, you hear only dead silence and after about 1 minute the call will also auto-disconnect. The number listed on the website for would like to know if anyone else is having problems with contacting SmartFriend customer support? If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
