Hi all,

I'm pretty new here... So new in-fact that I'm only due to receive my item (OMEN by HP 15-ax221tx) in a couple weeks.

I have a concern about my order because this morning at 03:30 I received an email from HP saying "thanks for registering" (please view image/link below):

Snippet

My questions are:

Does everyone receive this email when they purchase online from HP before physically receiving their item(s)?

Or has someone tampered with my product before sending it over to me?

As I've mentioned, I'm new here and new to getting my own HP products (especially purchasing laptops online); so I'm worried that my item has been tampered with or something.

I hope whoever's reading this is having a great day!

More details:

I'm in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Order is coming in from Singapore.

Call centre is based in India, and the person who I've been liaising with is also in India and he's not exactly understanding my question about the email I received- hence I'm posting in this forum in hopes of getting some clarification.
