Restocking Fee

HP Recommended

Help!! 

 

I recently purchased a laptop and then cancelled said laptop less than 24 hrs later. I was still charge a restocking fee, even though I was told at the time of the cancellation that production had not begun on my device. Im confused and wondering how that is possible?
