I logged on to look for help in getting my Desk jet 1000 J110a to print single 3x 5 index cards. The search took me to the forum, had me select a user name then would not let me post. Nothing turned up in a search on my topic. What do I need to be able to post a new message and is there a way to get my printer to feed single 3x5  index cards in landscape orientation-or portrait?

I searched for the term "wireless configuration utility" under the advanced search.

 

The results page gave a bunch of hits - each with its own "sample" of the actual thread/post that - in theory - contained the search phrase.

 

However, the snippets (hits) shown displayed individual words from the phrase (like  "wireless" ) highlighted, but nowhere was the actual phrase highlighted.

 

This gives one the impression that the results are NOT limited to those containing the entire phrase - which would be troubling indeed.

 

However, when clicking into one of the specific results - to the full post - the phrase can be found but it's often not highlighted and therefore easy to overlook.

 

1) When users search for a phrase, the results page should show that phrase within the samples.

2) When clicking thru to the full result, the phrase should be highlighted (bold)

Like any board, one must register as a user in order to post.

Neither did I.  Howver. for over week I have been attempting to discover how to end the subscription I took to allow me to upload PDFs to be converted to Word.

you just did...product name, model # , what is the problem in as much detail as you can.
