HP sure is a sneaky rat! I sent my laptop in to be fixed for a burned out motherboard and after it had been repaired, the techs sent in an added note that 'some' of the keys on my keyboard weren't working.  The problem is that no one could tell me what those keys were, but still wanted me to pay $300 for a repair!  I told them no way, those keys worked fine when I sent it in.  When I got my laptop back, all the keys worked on it and there wasn't a single note on the 'repair bill' indicating anything was wrong with the keys!  I called up HP and told them about it, and of course they give the me the total runaround 'oh little girl, you're just whining' nonsense.  Then tried to get me to pay $149 to extended my warranty! I wanted to know what keys they said weren't working and why they tried to charge me for something that didn't need to be repaired.  Today, Joe from the claims managers calls up and it took him a full 7 minutes to apologize for all this stress I'm going under.  He kept saying how I'm after money, well it seems to me HP is after MY money!  Not a single person seemed to understand my frustration over this, especially Joe.  There is no empathy at all in this company and I will never get and HP machine again.  HP needs to own up to their failures and not brush people off by trying to charge them the "Girl Tax"!  :robotmad:
