Trying to cancel an order

HP Recommended

I attempted trying to cancel my order within 30 minutes of placing it. I was on hold in chat for over an hour. When I finally got through, the person just said the cancellation request needs to go to some other department to be approved. I've been on hold today for 3 hours now trying to call to get this order cancelled. I have no confirmation that the cancellation is being processed. Is there any way someone can assist me?

Received an email within minutes of posting this that my cancellation has been completed.
