What have you done to try and fix the issue?

Have you powered off/back on?  Has anything been spilled on it?

 

Do you have anything plugged into the USB port?  Try removing it, then reboot.

It's 2 yrs old so HP isn't an option. Nothing plugged in. I have done everything.suggested including a factory reset.
First I had issues with keys sticking, HP fixed that because it happened 10 months after purchase. Not feeling the Chromebook. Not sure what to do now.
