Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw

I am stuck in the middle of two companies.  First company says they are a registered HP reseller and the other company is HP.  They say it isn't.  I have a fairly new printer with a serious issue and is supposed to be covered under manufacturers warranty.  I am being denied coverage and no one is doing anything about it.  Paid over $1000 for the printer and it is worthless now and is only 4 months old.  Shame on HP

HP had already sent out a technician, but the technician said it would have to be sent in.  When I sent in the proof of purchase and serial number plate, is when HP denied service because they said the company isn't HP authorized.  This is my dilema and HP is denying service on their product.  Sad!
