I purchased a brand new HP 255 G7 Notebook from BT online on 20 Jan 2020. (Receipt available).
Today - 1 Feb 2020 - I unboxed it, started it and carried out the wizard-driven basic set-up before registering it with HP.
Once registered, I checked the warranty status only to find that the warranty had been running since 20 Sep 2019: It is "Active" and due to expire on 19 Oct 2020. (HP Support Assistant confirms the same date).
As the machine was sold with a 12 month warranty (from purchase) the warranty should expire on 19 Jan 2021.
How do I go about getting the warranty expiry date corrected?
