How do you get Hewlett-Packard to stand behind their product. My laptop is only 8 months old. It has been lightly used. I only need it for personal use and online meetings. I purchased the laptop knowing it had a 1 year manufacturer warranty. They actually wanted to charge me to get it repaired. Then after my refusal they promised in home repair and the part shipped for free. So far I’ve heard nothing.
***bleep***. Especially, after doing research and finding out that I am not the only customer with this exact complaint. I just want what I paid for. Honestly it is a $450 computer. ***bleep***. Part of that $450 purchase was the warranty that was promised. I did not expect the computer to last more than a couple years, after all it is a $450 computer/laptop. I am so disgruntled that I am willing to call every single day just to waste their personnel's time dealing with my issue until I lose them enough money dealing with me to make it seem fair.

Hi @Ma2349,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
