I give up. I ordered two laptops for my twin daughters last night because hey, the money from my bonus check finally hit my account. It's their 16th birthday...wanted to surprise them so I selected the Next Business Morning shipping option. Happened to come home around noon today to fine a message saying I needed to call HP to verify the order. What the???? Are you kidding me. Is it such an anomoly that a customer orders more than one laptop, or is the fraud on the EPP site such that you allow the illegitimate customers to dictate your policy toward legitimate orders??? Why even sell computers online with these shipping options if you are going to make your customers jump through hoopes to get what they ordered???? You're still going to give me crap about refunding the difference in the shipping...yes you are, you're HP. Had I spent an extra $49 a piece, my order from Newegg would be on it's way now with no problems, but not HP. Even now, 15 hours after the order was place, after I made my call to you to verify that it was legitimate (that's one hell of a way to treat a customer, by the way), I'm told by your people that the order still hasnt' been "approved" for shipping, yet my bank account shows the funds have been taken. Why does HP suck so hard when it comes to customer service??? Why doesn't the site offer a resolution option instead of a useless list of FAQs? Why doesn't HP care about getting the products to its customers when promised. I try damned hard not to shop at Walmart, but even they do better customer service than HP. If that doesn't wake somebody up then I eagerly await notice of your bankruptcy.
