so i have a HP laptop, im not very good with computers but my grandfather bought me this for college. after he bought it, he set up the laptop for me including putting his email as the one that goes with the computer, turns out this email he used doesn’t even exist so when i couldn’t remember my password, i could not retrieve the verification codes or anything bc it is not the correct email, i’m not sure what to do, i have school starting on Monday and i really need my computer. i just need help on how i can either get the code or how i can wipe my computer clean.

We cannot help directly - we are prohibited from offering anything that breaches the security on the computer.

Before you give up and reload Windows, do try with Microsoft Support - if they are open on the weekend, you might be able to get this sorted.   Information / link later in this message...
