Personally, I would always delete tracking cookies. A good description of what they are is on the link below.

Dear OralRobinson,
Cookies are small softwares that function as traces of where you have been and THERE IS NO HARM IN DELETING THEM. In fact,that is the first recommendation of ISP (internet service provider) people whenever you lose internet connection.They were named this way: IMAGINE eating the real cookies and you drop bits and pieces along the way while you were walking around, then we can always trace where you have been and where you have walked.Some people
call cookies as "bread crumbs".
