Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with this Dashcamera/car cam recorder.

Ive had the device for a while now say aprox 10 months.

Since I purchased the recording system has worked a treat.

The only issue I have is the screen, it doesn't turn on, I click the corners where the 'buttons' supposedly are and the touch screen works... The screen does "flash" when I turn it on and it used to occasionally turn on completely but as of recently (about 4 months so not that recent) Ive been doing year 12 so it hasn't been a priority but now It's frustrating me.

Im trying to get some technical support but the s/n seems to long for the contacting hp....

So yeah if you could provide some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The screen doesn’t come on. Is that right?

Thank you for sharing the issue details. I would like to help you.

I request you try the steps below and check if that fixes the issue.

  • Recovery the batteries if you can.
  • Then hold the power button for 10 seconds and reconnect the batteries.
  • Try powering on the CamCorder and check if that brings back the display.

Hope this helps. Let me know for more.

Happy posting.

Hi there,

The product im talking about has a fixed internal battery with no easy way to pull it apart without destroying the case.

The L.C.D Back light does not turn on but the touch screen itself does work as it makes a sound when I click certain spots of the screen, eg the emergency button.

The manual says to reset the device turn it off for 7 seconds and then reboot the device.

Which ive tried multiple times.

I'm thinking it is a hardware issue but when I try enter the s/n Number into the support thread it does not accept it.

(It is too long to put the whole s/n number in)

Thank you for your continued support.
