my headset and mic combon does not seem to work my laptop will not recognise my mic but i can still hear from the head set any ideas?

Hi,

 

Your headset should have a brand (vendor) and model number. Now go to the vendor support site to download driver for it.

 

For example: it has XXXXXX name and model 123abc. You have to go to XXXXXX support site and download driver for product 123abc.

Hi,

 

Please try

 

(a) Right click the speaker icon,

(b) Select Recording device

 

         mic_head.png

 

Can you see Headset microphone ? If yes, right click and enable it. If no try a different headset or find a right driver for it.
