how do I recover my sign in credentials

this post is about how to recover my log in credentials. I am not sure how I got to the community since I have forgotten or used incorrect user name/password. I tried the recovery form but did not receive a verification code sent to either of my email address. either of which could be on file with P and the community forums. please tell me how to recover my current working user name password, my emails I used to register could be either [Personal Information Removed]. I could have used my passwords for those accounts here or something else. apparently my password list is incorrect. please help. thanks.

I am not at all sure I understand what you are asking - it sounds like you cannot log into your computer.

If the fingerprint sensor suddenly stops working on your computer

Consider trying a Forced Reset (power reset).

Reminders

 A Forced Reset is NOT a “recovery” and does not remove your data – this reset merely forces the computer to load the Operating System from disk. 

Forced Reset does not harm a healthy system nor does it “fix” problems not related to a clean start.
