I have called HP customer service about 7-8 times because my computer (HP Pavilion Elite) keeps turning off. All times I've told them that my vid card is overheating. They didnt want to replace it and instead chose to not listen and tried to convince me it was a software issue. When I called 3x ago, I wasn't even on the phone for 5 minutes and their customer support told me to reformat my computer. I told him that it seemed extreme to do so seeing as he didnt have an idea of what the issue is and we just got on the phone. He sounded high or inebriated and didnt offer any help other than for me to reformat my computer. I just got off the phone with HP (my 7th call) after more than an hour and the "supervisor" wanted me to give him my credit card #. We bought two HP Pavilion Elites and he provide me an option where I didnt pay even though I have 90 days left on my warranty. They suggested I go in to Best Buy and pay them to look at my computer. I asked the supervisor why I would do that, since I paid for warranty and his answer was "because you didnt want to give you credit card #." I am never buying anything from HP ever again. We spent over K on the two computers and their warranties and basically we threw that money out the window. I'm disappointed that hard earned money would go to a company that will not stand behind their product. This customer will not be coming back.
