HP support fabricates/falsifies support efforts...BEWARE

http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Desktop-PC-questions/HP-support-fabricates-falsifies-support-effo...

I'm not sure where to post this but I need to post it somewhere...

I spoke to tech support via chat IM regarding a display problem a month after I bought my Elite 310t...which solved my problem at that time

....and then again 1 week before the end of the 90 day warranty I called about another problem, and was told I would get a call back from support after the problem was bumped to the next higher level of support to resolve why my ATI 5450 card running a CRT and an HDTV wouldn't maintain the calibrated settings, reverting instead to the default settings after a few hours...

I'll address that issue in the display forum for your thoughts...but...here...

I want to let you know that HP did not EVER call me back and I called THEM back 4 times, each time told I would get a call the next day...and tonight, the 5th call, I was told that HP records indicate that someone tried to call me but got my answering mail box...I have no messages from HP....NONE

They also told me that they do not call back after 3 attempts...which makes me wonder why they didn't send an email to me or a letter...since EVERY time I called they asked for both email and home address before giving me any support...

I can only conclude that someone has falsified their responses...especially after beginning the 5th call by telling me that they will not address the issue because my PC is no longer in warranty...despite my records of having called in the problem WHEN IN WARRANTY...and have the service ID number as proof....

Anyway...They told me tonight that there is no problem with my machine...that the problem with my display settings (see display forum) not maintaining themselves is because I'm running a CRT monitor simultaneously with a digital display (my HDTV)...

Well...we'll see what ATI says about that....now to report my calls on the display forum...

...but I had to let you all know that SOMEone at HP is falsifying their support records and their efforts to contact me when I have no record of any such calls....

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
