Nexicore, the Warranty repair service for my Pavilion DV6 1030US has had my Laptop four times, twice for four weeks to repair the Left Click button. Every time they have returned the machine it still has the same problems.
I just got it back and out of the box the cursor draws a text box on the Desktop and the Left Click button will not respond to clicks except to open the right click menu for the desktop page, right click doesn't work at all. I can use a USB mouse and after using it the left click on the touchpad works but the right click doesn't work at all, I have to use the USB mouse to get the right click function.
Parts that Nexicore replaced.
Hard Drive (twice)
Windows OS (twice)
Palmrest and Touchpad
Keyboard
System Board (twice)
I am extremely upset as I really like my Laptop and payed a lot for it. HP just told me to give them 326$ and they would fix my Laptop even though it was still under the HP Warranty when the problem began. I made a serious mistake not immediately sending my laptop in to HP and relied on Nexicore.
I have about a year and a half left on my Service Net Warranty and they have offered to buy me out of Warranty but will not offer me replacement value of apprx. 600$. They have not told me if they want my machine in return.
