Z3200PS 44in Photo Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Z3200PS 44in Photo Printer.   The printer works fine when using the PLC driver and will print up to the 44" width.  When using the postscript driver, if a width of 36" or over is specified, the driver reverts to letter size paper (which I never use on a large format printer) .

Anytime I want to print wider then 36" or over, I need to use the PLC driver, which unfortunately does not have the colour or dimensional accuracy of the Postscript driver.    I have struggled with this for some time, and HP has not been able to solve the problem.  Their go to fix is reinstall the driver.

It doesn't appear to be a computer problem since it does the same thing when connected to other computers, such as a laptop.

Anyone have any thoughts?

HP issued a new driver package in July 2019, it fixes the problem.  However, in installing the new driver package it installed a new printer utility which is not compatible with the Z3200.
