5525 How to documents with different size pages. Wants to print all one size

HP Recommended
HP 5525

I'm trying to print a pdf that has multiple size pages (11x17, letter).  I set the option "Choose Paper Size by Document's Page Size", but it ignores this and prints all pages in 11x17.  What am I doing wrong?

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

Try another document with pages of different sizes. If it happens, then un-install and re-install adobe. If it's not happening then it's the issue with that particular document. 🙂

Let me know how that pans out

I hope you have a good day ahead,

And Feel free to ask any other queries as  well,

Considering, this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help. 🙂

It does the same thing whether I print from adobe or another third party pdf viewer.  We have another same model printer that I can print to fine, so it must be in printer settings somewhere.

I see that you were interacting with @Barachiel. I'd like to help.

Thanks for the reply.

I appreciate your time and effort.

I recommend you delete the driver and root level.

1)In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2) Select your HP Printer

3) Select Uninstall

4) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’

6) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.

7) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

😎 Click on the “Drivers” tab

9) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10) Select Ok

11) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12) Close Devices and Printers

Update the printer driver.

Download and install full feature driver from this website:- Click here

(Note:- Select the printer model number and operating system to download the correct driver)

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others and please give the same post a Kudos.

Cheers.

Don't think that is it.  It is a printer on a server and multiple people have the same issue.  Another 5525 server printer in another room we can print to fine, so I doubt it is driver.  Makes me think it is something in the settings of the printer itself since one printer works fine and the other does not.  I'm sure they are using the same driver.  Anyhow, I can't change the driver anyhow since it is server printer.  Thanks.
