839A-6B28 error new HP T850..can`t find any mention of this error anywhere..grateful for any assistance...

Just to update...we eventually reset the printer and have determined that the error only occurs after it has been set up on network..not sure yet if this is a network issue...will update later...

Yeah, nothing in the service database on that exact error but appears to be related to firmware. Is it up to date? Typically out of box they are not current.

Thanks for your response...the printer was good out of the box..was able to do internal prints..issue happened once printer was put on network...couldn`t get past the error..spoke to HP support and they had us download the firmware onto a USB drive and install...that didn`t get rid of the error...then they had us perform a OOBE Reset...which  worked ..until the printer was put on network again..same error....so at this stage we are waiting for further response from HP....

Proven to be an issue with the driver that was installed on the print server...reinstalled that and all good
