Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

 

Wondering if someone can help me getting software installed for Designjet 500 42 inc. HP has nothing and i tried downloading from some links found here however once downloaded software does not begin installation process, its just a much of dead files it sems.

In some cases the download you get might only be the required files and not an install. You would need to manually install the printer in that case.

I don’t understand. I’ve gone to add printer and tied to add the printer that way. I’ve even tried to add it using the printer connected to the router however I can’t seem to get it connected. The router address that isn’t saying in the printer when I try to put it in the browser nothing comes up. I don’t know if it’s the driver part that I’m getting wrong or the connection.
