Connecting T790 printer to router at new location

HP Recommended
HP T790
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We've moved our offices and we're trying to connect our T790 plotter printer. We've used the connectivity wizard to connect to the network, but we're getting error messages about our Gateway at around step 7 or 8 when trying to connect to the internet. We have the printer's current IP address; any suggestions?

Hi,

What  exact feature are you trying to access with the printer?

Is the printer currently connected to the network with an Ethernet cable? what is its current IP Address?

Shlomi

Thanks for replying to this ShlomiL!

The goal is to connect the printer to the internet using a TCP/IP port. The printer is connected to the network through a laptop via ethernet cable (the laptop is connected wirelessly to the internet router; the current IP address is 169.254.164.28.
