Hello, we have a Design Jet L26500 large format printer.  The error message says, "Printer Cartridge Expired" and it won't allow us to continue printing.  Is there a simple work around for this, as our cartridges still have plenty of ink, even though they are "expired".  Please help!

Hi,

there's nothing else to do with this cartridge, it`s already written as "Bad" or "Empty" or just has a bad chip. You can check connectors at first for some ink on them inside printer (pip`s)  or on cartridge itself, causing bad contact and try reinserting again few more times following replacement procedure. It often happens with cartridges from third party. Only solution so far is new cartridge.
