DesignJet T120
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My brand new DesignJet T120 is printing ONLY an 8.5" x 11" area of a 24" x 36" sheet, either of a PDF or a DWG.

How to fix this glitch?

Please advise,

Taruno

Hi,  Thanks for contact with HP Support Forum.

At first update the latest firmware through HP DesignJet Printer Utility.

Driver and Firmware: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-designjet-t120-printer/5263073

N.B: Firmware Rev. depands on your printer last digit on Part Number like: CQ890A/B/C

Once complete the firmware update, then try to settings like below (Just change the Paper Size):

a.jpg1st Partb.jpg2nd Part

I hope that answers will support to concern adequately. Let me know! Good luck

Thanks, Rashed, for your solution!

But I coildn't wait too long for somebody to solve this problem and after $370 in fees I got a technician to have it runnig OK.

It was the driver packaged with the plotter that had the glitch; it was solved using an older driver and I was able to keep working right away.

But I really appreciate your help, only it came a bit late fopr a working guy with anxious clients...

Had the same problem like yours - HP drivers are bugged and they don't intend to fix them, support is very bad, and thats why it is my last deivce from HP - had 7610 & T110 & T120, but it is time to give Brother a chance...

Rashed,

I am still having the same issue after I went though all the steps you had suggested. Any other suggestions?

This worked for me right away = "It was the driver packaged with the plotter that had the glitch; it was solved using an older driver and I was able to keep working right away."

Hope it works for you (I don't know which driver the techie used to replace the original, try a few olders to see which one solves the trouble),

Taruno
