Designjet HD Pro Scanner update error

HP Recommended
HP DesignJet HD Pro Scanner

I have downloaded the 4 files.

Ran the zip and it combines them properly into 1 large file.

Put this file onto an NTFS formatted USB Flash drive.

Insert into the scanner computer then startup and select System Update/Recovery.

When I select to install from the USB Flash drive, I get the following;

"Operation Failed!

The image file seems to be corrupted!

Please upload a new image file or recover the system using a

previous image file"

My current system is SW_system_hpzz_2.3.4

My Recovery System is: SW_system_hpzz_2.0.2

I have managed to update 1 time (in 2014) to 2.3.4

Every other update since then does not work. The error is as above.

So...

1 - I cannot update the system

2 - I cannot even select to restore or boot from the Recovery system

Thanks

Chris

Thank you for using the HP forum.

Error : Designjet HD Pro Scanner update error.

Problem Description: Software issue

The possible cause could be: OS Corrupt.

Corrective Action:

Follow the next steps to update the Printer SW & FW to the latest available version:

1. Download the 5 parts and save them in the same folder of your computer.

2. Extract the part 1. Note that all the parts are being extracted one after the other to the folder that you have chosen.

3. After that, you will find the full software called "REL25.1" located in the folder previously selected. The file size should be 3.46GB and the extension is ".iso".

4. Use a standard program to record CD/DVD, and select the option "Burn Image ISO".

5. Burn the software in a new DVD

6. Insert the DVD in the Panel PC of the Scanner and follow the installation instructions

There are only 4 parts unless you are writing about a different download.

6. Insert the DVD in the Panel PC of the Scanner and follow the installation instructions

There is no DVD/CD in the computer iof the Designjet HD Scanner Pro

Burned to DVD.
Booted scanner.
DVD disc is read and it asks if I want to update to version 2.9.5 (the version I downloaded).

I select ok then it loads for a minute, then;

"Operation Failed!

The image file seems to be corrupted!

Please upload a new image file or recover the system using a

previous image file"
