I ordered new hdd from HP.
Installed new hard drive. Tried to install firmware. It error with not enough space or wrong firmware.

I tried the old hard drive same error. I tried the new one and reseated ram on electronic module. When I plugged everyting back on.

Now it displays white screen and red X. Lights in the back psu on only the first light is on.

I tried turning it on without the hdd same error. I checked the cables they are all connected.

Depends on the model number. If the model number ends in A the part number is CR359-67001.

If the model number ends in B the part numberf is CR359-67031. There should be a label on the back of the machine which gives you the model number and date of manufacter.

These are the part numbers that were quoted to me. CR357-67083    (CR357-67095) for the hard drive and CR357-67051 for the formatter. The plotter is a T2500PS CR359A

I tried another formatter from a second T2500PS that is having a similar issue. The diagnostic lights in the back ot this second plotter indicates bad main pca.

When I installed the formatter from this second plotter onto this one now I can enter diagnostic mode but most of them fail giving me a 11:10 error, I´m thinking that is giving me this error because either I forced it too much by plugging it in and out, or because the firmware failed to upgrade. 20180213_103957.jpg20180214_104751.jpg20180214_104756.jpg20180214_105121.jpgI was able to run diagnostic tests on the electronics and all of them passed.

When I tried to upgrade the firmware with the new hard drive it gives me an error I´m attaching the pictures. I can tell for sure the formatter was bad since I tried another one. The hard drive too, because when I plugg in the old one the lights in the back indicates bad hard drive.

The error 11:10 was because I installed the trailing cable backwards.
