Designjet T520 will not autorotate, does not recognize paper size in multi-sheet tray

Designjet T-520-24 printer.  I cannot get the printer to autorotate, and it gives me a paper mismatch message.  If i want to print on 11x17 landscape, it says I need to have 17 inch wide paper instead of automatically rotating it.  It also frequently says I have odd sized paper instead of the 11x17 paper that is in the multi-sheet tray.  This is extremely frustrating; when I get it fixed it goes out of whack as soon as the next software update from Microsoft.

I know many people is having similar issues, most of them are resolving this paper mismatch issue by following this table:

I hope it will help you resolving the autorotate issue at least because if Microsoft keeps sending updates I guess you will need to uninstall and reinstall the driver.
