Designjet Z9plus PMK2 Wrong service station

Hi.

Did someone have encounter this issue: I have order a PMK2 (service station kit) # W3Z71-67022 (which replacé the # W3Z2-67009).

The service station included is for a 9 inks. The plotter of my customer have the option "Gloss Enhancer Upgrade Kit".

So by including the upgrade kit the plotter have now 10 inks, so 6 printheads.

The kit i have order was for 9 inks because there was no choice in the service manual for 10 inks, just 6 or 9 inks.

The service station doesn't work because it have only 5 wipers and 5 small tubes for the suction section.

Does someone had this issue or know the right PMK2 kit number to order?

You are incorrect in your math. 9 colors plus gloss enhancer is 10 total, 2 colors per printhead equals 5 printheads. The gloss enhancer is printed through the B channel of the grey printhead. Also note that the gloss enhancer upgrade kit does not add a printhead.

Thanks for the reply and right informations. I double check at my customer site and for sure there is 5 printheads.

The original service station have 6 wipers but one is not used. I have install the new service station and it works fine.
