Hi,

So I have a DesignJet z6800ps - 60in printer, and recently it's been having an issue where one of our designers will send it a single copy of an image from Illustrator as a PDF, and the colors won't look good, so they'll resave it as a JPEG, and resend it from Illustrator but now the printer thinks that single copy of a JPEG is 10 pages instead of 1, so it'll print a quantity of 10 copies and not just the 1 we wanted. if we send that JPEG again, it'll think that single copy is 20 pages. it exponentially increases the more times you send that JPEG to print. This doesn't happen every time they resave a PDF to a JEPG, but it's  becoming more frequent. What is happening or going wrong to cause this? We checked the file and it is not actually 10 pages, it is just the 1, so sending 1 copy should give us 1 page, not 10. If anyone has any ideas, please let us know! Thanks!

Myself had similar problems before on any of my dj printers....
for example, first time I wanted to print 2 copies....   then printer came out only 1..... then I press print 1...
after printer printed 1, then 1 more..
Imagining if first I said 5...   then came out only 1 & printer stopped ...   then I press print 4 more   ,   printer would printed 8 total....

Sound crazy, it is true....
