I have an HP DesignJet T610 24in Printer at a non-internet connection location.

 

I download from home the Driver from the HP Official site for this printer on my HP laptop, take the laptop to the remote location and connect via USB to the DJ Printer but cannot get the 2 to connect/communicate.!!!

 

The Software is installed/unzipped (as far as I can tell), and under Control Panel, the icon appears for the DJ Printer but the driver for it still appears missing, unable to connect/recognize the hardwired laptop to the printer. 

 

Can i type in some command to see if the driver is really available or can be activated??

Hi,

Download its latest 64-bit drivers below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL19416/pl-51711-8/hpdjt1100serieswx64gl.exe

 

Be sure to extract the drivers and then add the printer using the Add Print Wizard as listed by its instructions:
