The ink cartridge is physically stuck in the “up” position.

remove the cartridge, use a flat screw driver & pull out the silver metal little, then insert the cartridge.

 

I had similar problem with a T1100 44" printer & solved the problem same method..

 

no garrantee... try, cost nothing.....
