Officejet 7500A
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a new Surface Pro 7 running Windows 10 linked to a wide format HP 7500A A3 printer but am unable to print A3 documents.  A3 isn't on the menu of available printers although I have used on an older desktop used for years.

Any help would be appreciated as I use A3 regularly.

Cheers

Hi,

Have you installed the HP driver for your printer?

If not, from the Start Menu select Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners and remove any instance of the listed 7500A printer, if it is connected with a USB be sure to unplug the cable first and restart your computer.

Right-click the Start menu and select Run, type the following and press OK:

Spoiler
printui /s /t2

Remove any instance of your printer, be sure to select to remove both driver and its driver package and confirm, then close this dialog.

Download and install below software for your printer:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL34809/mp-109374-3/OJ7500_E910_1315-1.exe

For a USB connection, do not plug the cable till the installation clearly asks to do so.

May you see any difference now?
