Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Using HP DesignJet T1700dr.  Printing posters size 27"x34' from MS-Publisher.  Poster consist of background image with 3 line transparent text box overlay.  When selecting print from the File menu the print preview display shows exactly what was created on the canvas.  Print setting is One Sided print.  Everything on the preview window show correctly however when the poster is printed blank white lines appear behind the rows of text running from margin to margin.  HP Tech Support has re-aligned print heads and conducted other diagnostics on the printer to no-avail as problem persists.  The software preview does not display what is printed out. My workaround is to export the multi-object drawing (a simple picture background with transparent text box overlay) to a single image file (JPEG, PNG, TIFF all work)  I then reinsert the file on the canvas and size to my preference then print it out.  This work around solves the issue but I should not have to resort to these extra steps.

Has anyone experienced something similar and/or have a recommended solution?

What quality level are you printing at. Images often do not print properly if you do not select the highest quality mode.
