Hello There

I have a problem with a HP Designjet T1100 that

when I Sent a Print File to the printer after proccessing the file in the printer

as soon as the printer starts to printing suddenly for no reason the Plotter cancels the Job and cut the paper

sometimes It prints half size of job and then cancels the job

it happens with Internal Prints too

here is What Parts that I replaced

1-HDD

2-Formatter

3-LCD Panel

4-Rewinder Motor

5-Spindle

Have anybody Had this problem Before ?

My support site shows this issue for other models but not the T1100.  Here are the steps for diagsnotics, but keep in mind the T1100 is not listed on this support document. I am posting only to give you other things to look for:

 

  1. Perform the following diagnostic tests and calibration from the diagnostic mode. If any of the tests or calibration fails, follow the instructions in the service manual and replace the faulty part.
    1. EMOD test
    2. Paper Advance test
    3. Rewinder test
    4. Carriage test
    5. Cutter test
    6. Sensor test
    7. Scan Axis test
    8. Single Sheet Sensor calibration
  2. Check and evaluate the following components:
    1. Rewinder
    2. Media Sensor
    3. Formatter
    4. Main PCA
