HP Latex 560 Crisp barcodes

We cant get barcodes to print cleanly, if the bars on the codes are parallel to roll feed direction we get a pretty decent result, although im thinking it should be better (assuming we are getting 1200 dpi across the roll). If the bars are perpendicular to the roll feed they are unusable (assuming thats 600 dpi). Some files have the codes running in both directions so rotation of the page is not an option.

The codes are Illustrator generated PDFs and are vector.

The paper is Legacy Universal Satin 8 mil From Sanoma Graphics products.

Work flow is 18 pass 120% ink density off of caldera.

Most common printheads problem.. You must have best results even in 12 passes if printheads are clean,not much nozzles out and their contacts are clean like brand new heads.. Printheads must be aligned. Room conditions must be warm and not much humidity so is the paper...
