HP T520 margin/scale issues

HP Recommended
HP DesignJet T520

I am having issues printing A3 pdf drawings using the multisheet tray.

I have selected the following print optiongs from the pdf:

Size options: Actual size

Orientation: Auto portrait/landscape

Under the printer options I have selected:

Document Size: A3

Paper Source: Multi-sheet tray

Layout and Margin Options: Standard

Resizing Option-Print document on: A3

The printed document comes out with parts of the drawing cutt off. To get the whole drawing on the page I have to select 'fit to page' which means my drawings are not to scale.

What can I do to adjust the printer settings to achieve a full drawing at the correct scale?

Maybe the drawing will not fit on a A3 sheet which is why it is cutting off and only works with fit to size. Try printing on larger media still using the A3 setting and see what prints out.

these printers, although they have a sheet feed, are designed for rolls.

When using a Roll the margins are 5mm around all edges.

When using the feed tray the trail edge is closer to 20mm so that the feed roller can push the paper, thus actual sizes likely don't fit.

Good Luck,
