I click print and it says document couldnt be printed so I did some snooping and found all of my shortcuts with a little pad lock emoji so I went to Google to ask how to unluck it (doesnt go into enough detail) then I had a chat with the HPs virtual agent the things the agent says to do are grey (cant be selected) and you can't click on them. What is the point of having a computer and nice printer at home if you cant use them? Please Help and be specific. Thanks in advance

if your Full Feature Software is fully installed,
Locked templates is usually considered a normal behavior on that software that still designates "locked" templates.
Although your software will likely look different from the example, it may at least behave in a similar manner.
Example of Installed Software:
Software, when fully installed, provides the Printer Assistant shortcut icon on the Desktop (named for the printer).

Printing Preferences
Not all printing software looks the same, of course. The "basics" should be usually be available, including one or more printing shortcuts for printing documents and / or photos.
Set the Preferences
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers > Right-Click on your printer > Printing Preferences >
Tab Printing Shortcuts > Click / Highlight preferred shortcut > Click Apply > Click OK to exit
If the printer software supports the feature, change the settings as desired, then use “Save as” to create a Custom Shortcut.
OR
Windows key + S (search for) Printers and Scanners
Left-Click on (your) Printer > Manage >
Printing Preferences
Select a shortcut and / or set “preferred settings” for paper, source (tray), other settings
Optional (if / as available): Save As > enter a name for your custom shortcut
Click OK to save the preferences
Check / Adjust the Paper at the Printer Panel
Open Printer Tray, add desired paper type
Close Tray
IF applicable for your printer:
On the printer control panel, Click Modify (wording varies), set the paper size and type, Click OK
NOTE: If the size of the Paper Size is not in the Drop-down list, Select Custom
Examples
Note:
Locked shortcuts are "templates" used as-is or, if supported by your printer software, locked templates may be edited and saved with "Save-As" to create a "Customized shortcut".
