Had an ink cartridge explode in my Designjet z3200ps and now it won’t recognize new cartridges

Designjet z 3200ps

I had an ink cartridge explode and start streaming ink everywhere while inserting it. I promptly removed it, cleaned up every drop of ink I could find, and ordered a new cartridge. Since then, it typically accepts and recognizes a new cartridge when I insert it. Then within a minute or two, switches to throwing an error that tells me the cartridge is empty or there is no cartridge inserted. Bc if this,8’ unable to use my entire printer. I’ve read and tried everything I know to do. Any suggestions at all would be vastly appreciated. Thanks.
