Hi, i would like to ask if i can use other 711 ink cartridges instead of introductory ink included in my print head to start-up my newly purchased print head (C1Q10A). I accidentally used the introductory cartridge to my old damaged print head. Then when I'm trying to use those introductory ink to my new print head the printer says that not enough ink replace new cartridges. Does anyone experience it? Pls. help me...

It will be fine to use any HP 711 carts at any stage.

Hi Enduser1,

Thank you for the message. Are you saying that even non-introductory cartridges can be used in priming newly printhead? I'm just worried about the statement in the Printhead installation guide saying that " To avoid failures! Use the cartridges in this kit for installation. And that's the introductory cartridges included in the prinhead package.

I believe that the starter carts use the same ink as a full regular cart. Their job is to flush out the fluid in the head and thus leave the head with ink, ready for use.
